The blockbuster exhibition on the National Gallery offers an overview of Raphael’s work, from his early paintings in Urbino to the Florentine interval and Roman apotheosis. As a painter, draughtsman, architect, designer and archaeologist, Raphael is explored in each aspect of his multimedia exercise, including poetry. Today Roberto Casamonti, his daughter Ursula and his son Michele, continuously work on the analysis and expansion of the most important and historic creative actions of the 20th century and of varied contemporary artists. Well over one hundred artists’ works, mostly however not exclusively Italian, from Renato Guttuso to Jannis Kounellis and Alberto Magnelli to Andy Warhol are frequently obtainable.
