Painting demonstration and slideshow by David Bellamy

We all enjoyed David Bellamys  entertaining and informative watercolour painting demonstration  and  slide show at The Pensioners Hall, Ammanford on Saturday Oct 23rd. Both David and his wife Jenny Keal have new paintings in The CornerHouse Gallery together with  signed copies of their books.

Projection onto the large screen meant everyone could clearly see how the painting progressed.

Painting some detail in the foreground.

Working texture on the slopes.

Close up of the cottages.

Finished painting.

Thank you Jenny for doing so well with all the technology!

Thank you Wendy for organising this event. It was really enjoyable, informative and fun! It’s great to see an artist at work- it makes you want to try out some new and different techniques at home. The slide presentation was amazing and David retold his adventures to far away places with such a relaxed and comfortable style – it all made for a very entertaining and fascinating Saturday afternoon in Ammanford. Thanks again.

I am really sorry to have missed the David Bellamy day, the painting looks fantastic would have learned a lot if I had been there – next time – love his paintings.
